Re-Admission (to the University of Kansas College of Liberal Arts and Sciences)

Former KU students (those who have completed at least one hour of credit) must submit a readmission application.

Applications for readmission are available through the Office of Admissions online at www.admissions.ku.edu. If you have application questions please contact the Admissions office at (785) 864-3911.

Applications for readmission for International Students are available through International Undergraduate Admissions, 864-2616, 17 Strong Hall.

In addition to submitting the readmission application students seeking to return to KU must have official transcripts sent from each institution attended since leaving KU to the Office of Admissions. Students may also need to apply for financial aid.

Students requesting readmission after dismissal must meet the requirements below. Transcripts must be turned into the Admissions Office by the Friday before school starts in order to be considered for that semester.

Students denied readmission may fill out a petition for readmission, available in our office, 109 Strong Hall. Readmission petitions must be turned in by the Friday before school starts in order to be considered for that semester.
