Majors and Minors


Forty-four minors have been approved by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Specific requirements for each minor are available at the appropriate departmental office or through table shown below. All students are eligible to choose to complete a minor. Please remember that minors must be declared. Minor Declaration forms are available at The College Student Academic Services Office, 109 Strong Hall.

All minors must be a minimum of 18 credit hours with at least 12 hours at the Junior/Senior level. Nine hours of the Junior/Senior level courses must be taken in residence at KU. Students must earn a 2.0 or better GPA in all courses taken for the minor.

Majors followed by a ** are offered at the Edwards Campus in Overland Park, KS.
